As a family we have experienced many traveling tales together. One favorite is the time that we traveled to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for a job interview one Christmas. It was really chilly outside, but the beach was still so beautiful. The company we were interviewing with put us up in a gorgeous room overlooking the ocean. While we were there we decided to take in the sights. We visited the Hard Rock Café, the NASCAR Experience, and some of the theme park style areas. However, the most memorable would have to be the Christmas lights we were able to drive through. We pulled up to a place on the beach that had a Christmas light display put on by Chick-Fila. It was truly amazing for our precious peeps! We were able to not only drive through miles of Christmas lights, but we were able to do so actually driving on the beach! All the while listening to a music CD of Christmas music put out by Chick-Fila. The best part was the song called “We wish you’d eat more chicken” that went along with the tune of “We wish you a Merry Christmas”. Our kids still sing that song to this day!
